A technical challenge? Explore it and build a prototype.Explore the Lab
Compare the ways to work together
What kind of help does your project need?
Start with the result you need: a prototype to try, a recommendation to act on, software to deliver or advice while you build. The comparison below explains what each engagement produces and who does the work. You can also request a review of an existing system or an investigation before committing to an approach.
Decide what the engagement must produce: a recommendation you can act on, software your team can accept, or a review before committing further. Each output carries different responsibilities.
Identify who will implement. Consulting can guide your team; engineering can include agreed delivery. Mentoring leaves implementation with you or your developer. The proposal records the contribution you are buying.
Compare the contribution, output and implementation responsibility.
Lab · Prototype or technical experiment
Useful when an idea, system or integration needs to be tried before you choose a larger build. TechnoConception carries out the agreed investigation and development. You receive a runnable prototype or experiment, observed test results and handover notes. When feasibility is uncertain, the experiment establishes what worked under the agreed conditions; success of the idea is not guaranteed.
Useful when a company needs senior judgment on architecture, modernization, integration or AI adoption. The agreed output may be recommendations, decision records or a technical roadmap. Your team can implement the advice. If you also want TechnoConception to build, define that responsibility explicitly; a recommendation alone does not commission the work.
Useful when you need someone to carry out a defined contribution to a product or system. TechnoConception can work alongside your team on software, integrations or an agreed delivery stream. Specify the environments, acceptance criteria and handover. Production deployment and ongoing operation belong in the agreement when you need them.
Useful when you want to understand product choices while keeping your own tools or developer. A focused session addresses one agreed question and includes a written summary of options, assumptions and next actions. A defined mentoring engagement can revisit decisions over time. You perform the tests and implementation; coding and debugging are outside this service.
Useful when the decision depends on examining an existing repository or system. Agree on authorized access, review depth and purpose. The output identifies evidence, findings, risks and priorities. This is a separate engagement from mentoring. It does not automatically include corrections or certify that the entire system is secure.
Useful when the problem or next commitment needs investigation before an enterprise initiative proceeds. A decision brief compares options, explains a recommendation and identifies the next action. Buying, integrating, building, gathering more evidence or pausing can all be valid conclusions. A defined mandate can start directly without a Sprint.
Describe your situation before choosing a service. These details help establish what needs examination and who should contribute.
The decision or work: explain what is blocked, who is affected and what you want the engagement to produce.
What exists: identify the product, prototype, workflow or systems involved and what you have already tried.
Your evidence: summarize observations, user feedback, recurring problems or alternatives already considered. Mark assumptions as assumptions.
Your implementation capacity: say whether you will build yourself, work with a developer, use an internal team or need a delivery contribution.
Your constraints: explain relevant dependencies and decision timing. For an initial inquiry, leave out confidential code, credentials and customer data.

The same product can need different kinds of help.
A founder deciding whether to add payments
A booking prototype exists, but its users have not tried it. Mentoring can help compare testing the booking flow first with integrating payments now. The founder carries out the chosen test. If delegated payment integration is required, that calls for a separate implementation agreement.
A team comparing modernization options
An existing application needs to evolve, and several replacement approaches are under consideration. Consulting can examine dependencies and compare a sequence of changes. If a particular integration is already defined, an engineering mandate can address that contribution directly without requiring a preliminary Sprint.
A prototype whose technical condition is unclear
Someone wants to know what the code supports before planning the next stage. A scoped technical review can examine the agreed repository and report findings. Product mentoring may help with subsequent choices, but it does not substitute for inspecting or correcting the implementation.
Questions that help define the engagement.
Can consulting and development be part of the same mandate?
Yes, when both contributions are explicitly agreed. Separate the decisions to make from the implementation to deliver, identify who accepts the work and specify the handover. Adding delivery later requires agreement on that additional scope.
Do I need a validated idea before asking for mentoring?
No. An early idea can be the starting point. A session can help identify what to test, compare options and document the next actions. It does not establish demand or guarantee that the product will succeed.
Must I use TechnoConception to implement the advice?
No. You can use recommendations or a Sprint decision brief with your own team or another provider. Founder mentoring specifically leaves implementation with you or your developer; it does not require buying development services from TechnoConception.
What if I cannot yet tell which service fits?
Describe your situation, the decision you face and who you expect to do the work. We can clarify the contribution before proposing an engagement. There is no automatic obligation to buy a Sprint, book a session or continue into another service.
